Treasurers Report-Treasurer Gregory Lee Lane reported that we have a total
of $357.90 in the treasury. Minutes from the last meeting on 10/20/2005
were
reviewed and amended to reflect the correct address of the Cyber Spot. Old
Business- none at this time. Website Update- Webmaster Lane reported that
we
now have the 10 Key Values of GPNJ posted and that he deleted the sub-page
and that it could be re-instated whenever we wished. New business-The
bylaws of the CuCGP would reflect a new formal name of our
local, and that is the Cumberland County Citizens Green Party and also the
mission statement would be revised as now reflected on our website at
www.cucgp.org Both of these changes were passed by unanimous votes
of the
membership present. We briefly discussed the proposed regional
meeting on
5/21/06 in Glassboro. And John DiOrio offered to speak on nature/gardening
topics at a future meeting date to be determined. We then discussed having
Peter Christ of LEAP (Law Enforcement Against Prohibition) as a guest
speaker for our March meeting. After much discussion it was decided to
have
Christ speak with a required disclaimer in all Press Releases that would
read that "the views expressed by Mr. Christ and LEAP do not
neccesarily
reflect the views, opinions and policy of the CuCCGP." With the
understanding that the CuCCGP is hosting this as a public service,
educational forum. Cost of various venues was discussed. We discussed
tentative dates of 3/29/06 and 3/22/06. Details would be "firmed
up" as we
continued talks with LEAP.
Pass the hat. Next meeting date to be determined. Meeting adjourned
informally at 757pm. Rich Raimonde,CuCCGP recording secretary.
